A quick note

Hi Everyone,

First, I want to say thank you for all of your prayers and good thoughts. We finally heard some good news that we have all been hoping for. Trisha still has a challenging journey ahead of her. With that said, I just wanted to publish a quick note about visiting the Barretts over the next few months. As you may or may not know, the chemo drugs put Trisha at a high risk for infection; her immune system will be weaker than it normally is. Please do not come over if you or your kids are sick. Also, there is hand sanitizer right outside her front door and on the inside - please use this. It's for you! :D

Thanks,
Cerena

P.S. Keep posting comments on the blog - Trisha and Oak read through all of them and it definitely helps them get through this challenging time.

Trisha,

Please know that the Watson family is thinking of you, Oak and Caden and sending you tons of love and healing hugs. We'll stay in touch via this blog and, of course, Claudia's detailed e-mails.

Finally, something I can comment on!! Yes, hand sanitizer is very important. People and kids are dirty! Pets are not! Pets are clean! Bella is clean! Banner is clean! KiKi Marie is clean!
I will install the hand sanitizer on Friday. Maybe I can post a sign that says, "All who enter will be cleansed" or "It's a cleansing moment"! Please make sure that it is anti bacterial with no alcohol sanitizer - we don't want to poison the little kids, or do we?!?!

Hi Trisha,
What beautiful photos - thanks for sharing! Caden is just too cute. I want to reach out and pinch those cheeks!

So glad to read the news about your scans. You know that Ken, Emily, Brigitte and I are behind you at every step. Just let us know when Caden would like to meet for a playdate or a park date. We'd love to help you get your rest.

Here's a great website to check out regarding "WhyMommy" and her experience with IBC:

She's got a great support network that's available to you if you need it.

All our best,

I know this is a fight neither of you signed up for, and I would imagine a bit pissed about (I would be). I can probably speak for most of us on this board, wish we could take a piece of the fight on for you. Trish, you are strong, have a FANTASTIC husband and strong support system. You can do this!!!! I know you can. Catherine
